In a video posted on video streaming service Youtube, the girl can be seen as clearly just passing by when the tiger pounced on her, followed a sharp scream.
A split second in the video shows the trainer interfering in order to avoid further harm to the young girl.
Questions of animal handling and safety was then raised all over social media with people asking why the carnivorous animal wasn't in a cage.
It also raised the question as to the Middle East elite's fascination with non-domestic animals such as tigers and lions, many of which have them to show their affluent status in life. A police inquiry is already underway.
