Filipino expats, bring a tourist to Philippines and win a house, car!

If you want an easy way to own a house or car, here's a golden deal.
The Department of Tourism of Philippines has officially launched a campaign that will give you a chance to win condominium unit, a car or a gift certificate worth Dh14,000 (200,000 pesos), if you bring a tourist to that country.
According to the Manila Bulletin, the Department of Tourism opened the 'Bring Home a Friend' campaign recently. It also announced the drive on their Facebook page.
The 'Bring Home a Friend' programme was earlier known as 'Invite Home a Friend'. It was launched by former tourism chief Mina Gabor. The programme was revived by incumbent tourism chief Wanda Teo after two decades to encourage foreigners to experience the 'Filipino's world-renowned hospitality'.

What's it about?

Bring Home a Friend (or BHAF) is a programme wherein Filipinos, or Philippine expats who invite foreigners to visit the country stand a chance to win a prize. The invited foreigners also get a chance to bag some prizes - talk about a win-win situation.
According to the Department of Tourism's website, three sponsors (participants) and invitees will be selected from the grand draw. The event will run from October 15, 2017 until April 15, 2018.

Who can join?

The participant must be Filipinos of legal age (18 and above). Other than that, Filipinos with a dual citizenship, expat workers (OFWs) and even foreigners living in the Philippines for a minimum of six months prior to the raffle can join.
If you're inviting your friends over, make sure that they have been living abroad for a minimum of six months prior to the event and travelled to the Philippines during a specified period of time.
In order to join the contest as either sponsor or invitee, one can simply log on to the Department of Tourism's website and fill up the respective Sponsor/Invitee form. Both parties will receive a confirmation email upon successful registration.

What are the prizes?

This is the fun part. Sponsors (participants) stand a chance at winning a condominium unit, a brand-new car or a Dh14,000 (200,000 pesos) gift certificate from Duty Free.
If you're the lucky invitee, pack your bags because you can either win two business class return tickets to El Nido Palawan, which comes with a hotel stay. To the uninitiated, El Nido has been named by Lonely Planet as one of the best beaches in the Philippines - just look at it.
The second and third prizes are flight and hotel packages to other tourist destinations such as Cebu and Davao.
Rather than telling your foreign buddies how beautiful the Philippines is, ask them to come over, you'll both emerge happy (and lucky) at the end of it all.
