A 7-year-old boy in China miraculously survived an eight-storey fall by landing on a bed sheet which his alert neighbours spread. However, the impact of the fall ripped the bed sheet in half and the boy hit the ground, sustaining serious injuries.
The video of the incident shows the boy clinging onto a windowsill of a high-rise building in Penghu Garden residential district in Chongqing on Tuesday. The video shows him kicking his legs as he makes an effort to pull himself up but loses his grip and falls onto the pavement. Residents said the child held on to the windowsill for almost a minute before falling on the bed sheet, Daily Mail quoted CQ News report.
