Four Million Visas Issued to Pilgrims The Ministry of Hajj has announced that the number of Umrah visas already issued since the start of Umrah season this year 1434 H. are approaching the 4 million target. A statement said yesterday that the number of Umrah Performers entering the Kingdom over the last five months reached 3,145,506 from more than 70 countries around the world. The major hajj occurs this year in October and is expected to draw three million Muslims from around the world, despite concerns about the spread of a new SARS-like virus that has killed 15 people in Saudi Arabia so far.
