Four ministers lost their seats!

FOUR ministers, have been confirmed to lose their constituencies in the first round of tallying of Sunday’s 2015 General Election. Out of four two are cabinet ministers.

The first was Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (Investment and Empowerment) Eng Christopher Chiza, lost his Buyugu seat to Chadema flag bearer.

While Minister for Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives, Stephen Wassira, lost Bunda Urban constituency to Ester Bulaya of Chadema. Who recently crossed from CCM, She got 28,508 votes against 16,100 of Mr Wassira.

Others are Siha Constituency were the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Office (Regional Administration and Local Government), failed to retain his seat, as he was defeated by Chadema candidate, Dr Godwin Mollel, who collected 55 per cent or 22,746 votes.

Mr Mwanri, was MP since 2000. And Deputy Minister of Health, Dr Stephen Kebwe, lost his Serengeti seat, to Ryoba of Chadema after getting 39,232 against 40,089 votes.
