The moment a bride begins to walk down the aisle, all eyes are on her.
That can sometimes get embarrassing. The last thing you want is to trip or have some kind of mishap during what’s essentially the “rising action” (everyone stands, after all) in the plot of every nuptial ceremony.
Tanya Malone had her spotlight stolen at her wedding this past weekend. It seems her nephew Rhys just could not handle the excitement. In a video that’s gone viral for its sheer hilarity, as she walked past him, he can be seen in the clip diving onto the train of her wedding dress.
The result? Malone nearly toppled over as Rhys tried in vain to “ride” the back of her dress after launching himself through the air onto its train.
Thankfully, according to BreakingNews.ie, Malone stayed on her feet and was able to make it down the aisle where groom Mark Monaghan was waiting to say “I do.”
Rhys, on the other hand, will probably be kept under strict supervision at the next wedding he attends. You can almost certainly guarantee this eight-second clip will be showcased when he weds.
