Kyenjojo woman who had hands hacked off needs Shs5M for medical care, say doctors

Doctors at the national referral hospital in Mulago say they need up-to 5m shillings to treat a woman whose hands and ears were chopped off after a fight with her lover over a maize harvest. Ninsiima Kabonesa’s lover Adolf Busingye remains on the run.

The Police say they have launched a man hunt for Adolf Busingye, a resident of Kyenjojo, Uganda  who cut off his pregnant lover’s hands and ears after an argument over how they should share a maize harvest three weeks ago.
Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga says Busingye who is on the run may have  fled to districts neighboring Kyenjojo
