All this was captured in a video by eyewitnesses present and was shared on the internet.

After protesters gathered outside the hospital and got out of control, baton-wielding police officers were called to control the situation. But the mob soon turned on the cops and started attacking them.

According to a report on Mirror.co.uk, the violence broke out after a 17-year-old was raped in the hospital's intensive care unit after being drugged by a ward boy.
