Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid stressed that the status of Jerusalem represents the essence of the peace process and that any breach of this status may open new doors to extremists. "Jerusalem, with its Arab identity and its historical and religious importance, is a holy land to people of different faiths. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Saturday voiced the UAE's concern over the negative effects of the US president's decision on the stability in the region and the prospects for the peace process.
