
An X-ray performed at another hospital revealed the presence of an object in the child's right lung.

According to a Hindustan Times report, the parents of the child were initially under the impression, that Ariba Khan had ended up swallowing a thread or a part of the toy after which they took her to a doctor, who failed to diagnose her condition.
An X-ray performed at another hospital revealed the presence of an object in the child's right lung and she was put on antibiotics to stop and control the infection.
A bronchoscopy test revealed that the seven-month-old's lung was full of granulation tissues, which were concealing the object stuck in the lung. A situation that made it's removal difficult.
The object, primarily looked like a strand of wire was removed by means of forceps and was revealed to be two-centimeters in diameter.
