Doctor dies after working overtime in China!

A 43-year-old doctor in Qinghai province of China died after treating 38 patients during his long shift.

Guo Qingyuan, a father of two, suffered from chest distress, palpitations and breathing difficulty.

He was given emergency treatment but died due to sudden convulsions. The incident took place at Qinghai University Affiliated Hospital last week.

Guo had worked till 11:40pm while his shift originally ended at 8:30pm, according to Channel News Asia.

Earlier, a doctor at the Yuci District Hospital in Jinzhong died after working 18 hours non-stop.
