Indian bride-to-be sends film of herself drinking poison to ex-boyfriend, dies!

In a harrowing incident, a bride-to-be filmed herself drinking poison before sending the clip to an ex-boyfriend who was allegedly blackmailing her.Nisha Devidas killed herself by drinking a thick black substance at her home in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, just 10 days before her wedding, reports Daily Mail.

Nisha was rushed to the District General Hospital in Bhandara, but was pronounced dead upon arrival, the report said.

Her brother, Ravi Kavle, claimed she was sick of being blackmailed by her ex-boyfriend.

Ravi was quoted by local media as saying:


"My sister's wedding was due on 4th February but she embraced death just 10 days before her marriage.

"A youth named Nikhil Borkar is responsible for my sister's death. He lured my sister on the pretext of marriage, then used her and stared blackmailing her."

He also demanded that Nikhil should be 'immediately arrested'.

Police say they are investigating. It was not clear that the nature of the alleged blackmail was not stated.
