Restaurant delivers curry to France in private plane!

Ever imagined your favourite overseas restaurant deliver that lip-smacking dish right at your doorstep. Seems like a distant dream, isn't it? But not for this British expat living in Bordeaux, France, who received chicken curry all the way from UK.The Akash Restaurant, an Indian eatery in Hampshire, flew their food order 500 miles away to pilot James Emery in a chartered private plane this Saturday, according to reports in BBC.

The order included a total of 89 meals, 70 side dishes, 75 portions of rice, 100 poppadoms and 10 servings of mango chutney from their favourite Indian restaurant, NDTV said quoting Sky News reports.

The restaurant shared many videos of the curry being flown off to France on their Facebook page. "I would complain about the bland and uninspiring version of Indian food we get in France," said Emery.

Faz Ahmed from The Akash Restaurant said that the order was delivered for free in accordance to the business's policy of free delivery on orders over GBP12.
