Man sold his Porsche for Dh101, wants to sell jaguar for same price!

  • The Jaguar up for sale will be hand delivered to the winner, provided they live in the UK.
An
estate agent in Chelsea, England, who sold his Porsche Cayman for a mere £20 a ticket by raffling in August last year, is now ready to sell his Jaguar for the same price.

Ed Bezzant, is quite popular on Instagram for the pictures he shares of his extravagant London lifestyle that showcase expensive cars, clothes, watches, travels, and parties. Bezzant created a buzz when he announced that he will raffle away his stunning Jaguar in a bid to make some money.
The Independent quoted Bezzant as saying in Business Insider that the 64 plate White Jag F Type which has driven 22,000 miles includes a panoramic roof, a satellite navigator, and a black back for grills and vents. The new versions the Jaguar's latest model can sell for more than £50,000 and Bezzant has 2,250 tickets of the car in raffle, the winner of which will be chosen from a box of names, live on Instagram.

Earlier when the estate agent raffled his Porsche, he managed to sell 2,296 tickets and made $42,897 (Dh157,000 approx), an amount which could buy the latest edition of the car. His Porsche Cayman was won by a girl called Chloe Issacs and certainly helped Bezzant earn the enormous amount to plan his extravagant wedding.

He added that the Jaguar up for sale will be hand delivered to the winner, provided they live in the UK. "It was so much fun and everyone really enjoyed it last time, and I kept getting messages asking me to do it with my Jag, but didn't want to sell it," he said.

However, Bezzant said he decided to sell the car as he and his fiancé found out they were expecting their first baby. "I realised two seats with a baby wouldn't work so I needed to sell and get something more practical, so decided to make a competition to win the car again as a way of selling it," he said.

Hence, if Bezzant is able to sell all the tickets, he could make £45,000. The raffle has certain conditions for participants that include paying £20 for the ticket plus a £1.55 fee through Eventbrite to enter the competition.

Further, the winner will receive an email of 'Where's Wally' picture, post which he will FaceTime with them and give them 60 seconds to find Wally in the photo. "If the time expires without finding him, a new winner will be drawn until someone finds Wally," Bezzant said, adding, "This is a test of skill under some time pressure, so it's a competition rather than a raffle."
