- They took their deceased daughter back to their village for cremation on the same bike.
Doctors say that timely intervention could have saved the child who was diagnosed with pneumonia, reported India Today.
The parents, Ghanshayam Nath and Jina Bai, were forced to borrow a bike from a relative to make the journey.
In the video shared on several social media sites, the feverish child is hooked to a saline drip, and driven more than 20km to the children's hospital in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.
"They tried to save my daughter but could not save her as we could not reach the hospital on time. Had we got an ambulance at the Sailana health centre, my daughter would have been alive," Ghanshaym said.
