The woman was operated at the University of Colorado hospital in Denver after doctors told her she suffered from Kidney cancer.
According to the Metro, "She discovered that a report drawn up two months previously indicated there was 'no evidence of malignancy' on her kidneys.''"My life was totally changed. Dialysis is no picnic no matter how used to it you get, it robs you of your life," Wooley said.
Wooley now wants to get her life back and get a kidney transplant. But it might take a long time before she is freed from the agony as the waiting list is 95,000 people long.
"It is terrifying because you have no choice when you go into a hospital. You trust that you're going to be taken care of."
She has now filed a case against the hospital.
