On a Patreon website, Tundu Lissu passionately appeals to good Samaritans from Tanzania and the world to help him financially after his parliamentary remunerations were cut off.
Patreon is a membership platform that makes it easy for one to receive monthly donations from good Samaritans who are willing to help him.
On his patreon page, Tundu Lissu writes...." On September 7th. 2017, I, Tundu Lisu was shot as I was returning home from a parliamentary session in Dodoma, the Capital of our country, Tanzania. Gunmen (watu wasiojulikana) sprayed my car with as many as 32 bullets, hitting me 16 times. But, due to our Lord's mercy I survived the political assassination attempt on my life".
"In total I have had 23 surgeries and the last one was on 20th February, 2019".
"With no help from the government and with the National Assembly Speaker, Hon Job Ndugai suspending all my payments, I need your support in my rehabilitation efforts on my way to full recovery.”

While addressing Tanzanians in America on 9th February, 2019 and in a video clip two days ago, Tundu Lissu made a similar passionate appeal to good Samaritans to support him financially, so that he could be able to finish his medical treatment in Belgium without any hindrances and safely return to fitness.
