Millions Warned About Oral Sex As Awareness Of Silent Killer Plummets!
By Habiba Katsha

Oral sex is something lots of people engage in. But you might be shocked to know that it’s associated with human papillomavirus (HPV), which has been linked to some types of cancer.
WHO estimates there are 600 million cases of HPV worldwide. It is the most prevalent sexually transmitted infection (STI), with almost every sexually active person catching HPV at some point in their life.
Though having HPV is normally quite harmless, it can lead to genital warts, cervical cancer, and has been linked to anal, oral and penile cancers.
Awareness of HPV is low
Academics at the American Association for Cancer Research aired concerns about the lack of awareness surrounding the disease. During its annual meeting in April, members highlighted that only two-thirds of people know about HPV.

Germany reforms citizenship law!
Many immigrants will now be able to get naturalized while holding on to their original nationality
Germany is reforming its citizenship law, streamlining the procedure to get German nationality. Dual citizenship will also become an option. The German government is presenting its new citizenship law this Wednesday (23.8.2023). Legislation proposed and presented by Interior Minister Nancy Faeser will make dual citizenship easier as well as naturalization for non-EU citizens.
It is a reform that has been in the works since the center-left coalition of Social Democrats, Greens and the neoliberal Free Democrats took office in the fall of 2021.
The new citizenship plans boil down to three changes:
Immigrants legally living in Germany will be allowed to apply for citizenship after five years, rather than the current eight; and if they have special achievements this can go down to only three years Children born in Germany of at least one parent who has been living legally in the country for five or more years will automatically get German citizenship; Immigrants above the age of 67 will be able to do an oral instead of a written German language test Multiple citizenships will be allowed.

Matt McClain/The Washington Post via GettyJimmy and Rosalynn Carter have dinner with a friend in Plains, Georgia, on Aug. 4, 2018
Josh Carter tells PEOPLE that while it's "different" visiting his grandparents' home now that they've grown a bit quieter, "they are still here, they are still holding hands and still very much together"
Life at Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter's Plains, Georgia, home is "quiet and calm" these days, according to their grandson.
"My grandparents have always been the entertainers," Josh Carter tells PEOPLE, reminiscing on how visits to see the former first couple were once filled with exciting stories and souvenirs from their world travels. "But now we're kind of the ones having to entertain. It’s different, it's just a different era."
In February, the Carter Center announced that Jimmy, 98, had decided to cease medical intervention and enter hospice care "to spend his remaining time at home with his family." Three months later, the Carters revealed that Rosalynn, now 96, has dementia.

Trump indicted for efforts to overturn 2020 election and block transfer of power!
- Special counsel Jack Smith announces indictment of Trump for his efforts to overturn 2020 election.
The four-count indictment, the third criminal case against Trump, provided deeper insight into a dark chapter in American history that has already been the subject of exhaustive federal investigations and captivating public hearings. It chronicles a months-long campaign of lies about the election results and says that, even when those falsehoods culminated in a chaotic insurrection at the Capitol, Trump sought to exploit that violence by trying to further delay the counting of votes that sealed his defeat.
Even in a year of rapid-succession legal reckonings for Trump, Tuesday’s criminal case, with charges including conspiring to defraud the United States government that he once led, was especially stunning in its allegations that a former president assaulted the “bedrock function” of democracy. It’s the first time the defeated president is being held to account for his frantic but ultimately failed effort to cling to power, culminating in the Capitol attack.
