EGYPTAIR LAUNCHES NEW CAIRO TO ZANZIBAR SERVICE!!

EgyptAir is expanding its African network with the launch of a new route connecting Cairo to Zanzibar beginning September 4, 2026. 

The carrier will operate the service twice weekly using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, strengthening connectivity between Egypt and the Tanzania-based island destination. 

This addition marks EgyptAir's continued regional growth strategy across East Africa. 

The twice-weekly frequency demonstrates EgyptAir's confidence in demand between the two cities, positioning Cairo as a key hub for travelers heading to Zanzibar's popular tourism sector. 

The Boeing 737-800, a workhorse narrowbody jet, offers an optimal balance of capacity and operational efficiency for the route.
