MUSCAT — The heavy rains that lashed the Sultanate’s northern governorates almost filled the Wadi Dayqah Dam in the Wilayat of Qurayat with rainwaters measuring 99.5 million cubic metres of water, the dam’s total storage capacity is 100 million cubic metres. The officials who are overseeing the dam, said that there is no risk from the dam exceeding its capacity and overflowing out of the dam structure and assured everyone that the dam is in a good condition and there is no risk whatsoever from being filled with water.
