— Anne Makinda, Speaker of the National Assembly of the United Republic of
Tanzania, and her accompanying delegation yesterday visited Sohar Industrial
Estate. They were received by Musallam bin Mohammed al Shahri, Assistant CEO
for Operations at the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE).
During the visit, Makinda and her accompanying delegation listened to an
integrated show on mechanism of work in Sohar Industrial Estates. The show was
presented by Abdul Qadir bin Salim al Balushi, Director-General of Sohar
Industrial Estate. He touched on the importance of Sohar Industrial Estate, its
strategic location in the Sultanate and the region, the future of the
investment projects, basic services provided by the Sultanate and management of
the Estate for investors. — ONA
