Just with your Tanzanian passport you can actually visit any of the 76 countries across the globe without any hassle.
According to the arrangement, for some of these countries a Tanzanian citizen can be allowed to stay for particular number of days or months in some countries after which they may be required to get a visa.
The duration varies, and they are expected to find out from the embassy or consulate.
Based on a report published by the Henley & Partner Visa Restrictions Index, a global ranking of countries according to the travel freedom that their citizens enjoy, while Tanzanians need a visa to enter some countries, citizens of some countries can travel to almost anywhere without restriction.
A report obtained by The Guardian on Sunday said most countries require a visa for entry with your Tanzania passport. However, there are some countries that will grant you entry for a specified amount of days or sometimes even months without a visa.
Henley and Partners have analyzed visa regulations of countries and territories all over the world and created an index which ranks countries according to the visa-free access their citizens enjoy when seeking to visit other countries.
It should be noted however that some countries in the list will allow a person to stay in that country without a visa for up to 90 days before a visa is processed or the person is sent back home.
The Henley & Partners Visa Restrictions Index is a global ranking of countries according to the travel freedom that their citizens enjoy.
Henley & Partners analyze the visa regulations of all countries and territories in the world and present an index which ranks each by the number of other countries that their citizens can travel to without having to obtain a visa.
The index is produced in cooperation with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which maintains the world’s largest database of travel information, and is published annually.
Countries are listed according to the numbers of other countries to which visa-free access is possible. Hence, Finland, Germany, Sweden, the UK and the US, who can all access 174 countries visa-free, the highest score achieved, are ranked in first position.
