The monkey is seen single-handedly trying to revive a member of his troop that fell down on the railway tracks after being electrocuted while walking on the high voltage path.
A video showing a monkey reviving his electrocuted mate is currently going viral on YouTube and all around social media.
According to media reports the incident took place at the railway station in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
While the public is seen more interested in capturing the rescue operation on their mobile phones, the monkey is seen single-handedly trying to revive a member of his troop that fell down on the railway tracks after being electrocuted while walking on the high voltage path.
Seeing that his friend lying in an unconscious state, he desperately tries to bring him back to consciousness by biting, slapping and pushing him in the water drain that runs alongside the tracks. According to media reports the monkey did not give up and carried on with his rescue for over 15 minutes. His efforts finally yields results much to the relief of shocked commuters who were seen watching the incredible rescue episode right in front of their eyes.
