In a face to face interview with this reporter who was in Uganda’s capital city, Kampala, recently, Muteebi Sembatya (45) who owns a wholesale shop in Kampala, said he was highly impressed by Dr Magufuli.

”He is indeed a man of action. Tanzanians should support him in this noble task,” he said. Several Kagera residents also praised Dr Magufuli for trimming the cabinet. Juliana Mwombeki (36) from Miembeni ward, in Bukoba Municipality said she was pleased by the integration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation with the Ministry of East African Cooperation.

“This will undoubtedly save a big chunk of money that will be used to improve social services including health and education,” she said.

Meanwhile, Councillors under Bukoba Municipality on Friday elected Chifu Kalumuna from UKAWA, who is also Councillor for Kahororo to become the new Mayor.
