Rwanda’s national carrier RwandAir, has finally acquired Airbus 330-200 to expand its flights across Africa, Asia and Europe. According to Rwanda Civil Aviation officials, the aircraft named “Ubumwe” with a capacity of 244 seats ranging from 20 business class, 21 premium and 203 economy class. The jet, nicknamed Ubumwe (unity), is the pride of RwandAir, a dream that has been realised, a dream that opens forth more, bigger dreams, leaving the sky as the limit. RwandAir currently operates a fleet of nine aircraft and is expecting to add four other new planes, including the A330-300. The second Airbus A330-300 is due for delivery in November 2016.
