As an attempt to revitalize the struggling communities and allure the youth to move to the countryside, those relocating can utilize up to $80,000(Dh293,808)worth of incentives.According to USA Today, rural America encompasses 75 per cent of the country, but only 16 per cent of its population, the lowest in the nation's history. The attempt is made to increase the number of people living in rural areas who have moved to urban cities.
The perks include $10,000 forgivable five-year loan for first-time buyers, $30,000 of renovation assistance besides paying up of $40,00 towards college tuition, the Daily Mail reported.
"You can also receive an additional $2,500 if you're a city employee, teacher, police officer, firefighter or member of the military," the program's website states.
