Zanzibar Minister of Information meeting Oman's Heritage Minister during Oman visit!

His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture.

Muscat: Zanzibar's Minister of Information, Tourism and Antiques, Mahmoud Thabit Kombo and his accompanying delegation are visiting the Sultanate on a several-day visit at an invitation from the Ministry of Heritage and Culture.

During the visit the guest will meet with His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture.

During the visit, the guest will hold meetings with officials of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture to discuss the process of maintenance and renovation of the House of Wonders (Beit El Ajaib) and award of phase one of the tender of maintenance and renovation works and a discussion on organising an exhibition at the permanent museum at the House of Wonders which will host items related to Oman-Zanzibar history.

A Memorandum of Understanding on regulating exchange of digital records between the two sides will be signed on Monday.
