A woman was slapped and her hair pulled by a McDonald's worker in Camberwell, South London, as she went behind the counter to serve herself.
The incident was captured by another McDonald's customer and shows the woman getting into an argument with one of the staff workers. According to reports in Daily Mail, a witness at the restaurant said the woman, who was with her friends in the early hours on Saturday, was angry as it took too long to prepare her order and confronted the McDonald's worker behind the counter.
The footage shows the customer trying to flick the worker's face after she picks up the order receipt.
Apparently, the worker who was quietly listening to all the taunts of the customer lost her cool and slapped the woman before grabbing her hair. A security guard intervenes and tries to stop the worker from beating up the woman. He then escorts the customer out of the restaurant.
A witness, who did not want to be named, said, "From what I could hear, the girl was upset that her and her friends' order was taking too long so she decided to go behind the counter and get the food herself."
The witness further added, "The girl was there for a further ten minutes insulting the security guard and causing a scene. Eventually her friends walked off and left her then she followed shortly after.'
