THE IMPORTANCE OF CHOOSING AN AIRLINE WISELY WHEN YOU TRAVEL!

You must be aware of the recent Lion Air plane carrying 189 people that crashed off Indonesia. You must have also read about the unconfirmed reports that the ill-fated aircraft had a similar defect reported the previous day (we’ll have to wait for the final investigation report for details).

This should make us realise the importance of choosing an airline wisely while travelling. Low fare alone should never be the sole criteria for choosing an airline.

There are some international agencies that monitor the airline performance, assess the airline’s safety conditions, and periodically post the airline’s safety rating.
Class 1 - Good
Class 2 - Adequate
Class 3 - Questionable 
Class 4 - Inadequate

(Lion Air comes under Class 4!)

For your safety, always travel in class 1 or 2 rated airlines only.
