UAE's highest skating rink opens in Jebel Jais mountains!

Not only has the world's longest zipline reopened in Ras Al Khaimah's Jebel Jais, but an overhanging outdoor skating rink as well - the highest in UAE.

The outdoor skating rink, with its stunning mountain scenery, is the perfect backdrop for holiday snaps.

Ras Al Khaimah announced the opening of the exciting new adventure addition on Tuesday.

Visitors are advised to wear warm clothing as temperatures can go down to under 10 degrees in the mountains. The skating rink is nestled 1,300 metres above sea level.

The synthetic skating rink gives visitors an incredibly realistic ice skating experience and is perfect for skating the day away whilst taking in the stunning views.

The skating rink will be open every day (except Mondays and Tuesdays) from 10am to 5pm until March and only costs Dh45 for 30 minutes skating including skates. If you need a bit of help staying steady, skate penguins are available for support.
