A video of D Krishna Kumar travelling with his mother on his 20-year-old scooter was shared by Twitter user Manoj Kumar. The short video shows the elderly woman riding pillion as she travelled to Arunachal Pradesh with her son, according to reports in The Indian Express.

The chairman of Mahindra Group lauded the man's gesture and asked if anyone could get him in touch with the man. Mahindra tweeted on the video: 'A beautiful story. Netizens praised Mahindra for his offer and some people also shared the man's number with the industrialist. However, there were some people who pointed out that the old scooter has emotional value for the man as it belonged to his deceased father and he had refused to let go of it.
