Russian authorities are investigating a mother after she uploaded a video of her allowing her six-year-old son to drive on a motorway at 130 kmph.

According to the Daily Mail, 29-year-old Agina Altynbayeva let her son drive her Hyundai Solaris on an empty highway. The shocking footage shows the tachometer touching 80 mph (130 kmph).

After receiving backlash, the mother has become very defensive online, even swearing at her critics. "I do everything right, and if you think that I am not right, it is your problem," she wrote.
Police and childcare authorities have initiated a preliminary investigation, confirmed the Tatarstan Interior Ministry.

"First of all, the inhabitant will be interviewed by GIBDD (Russian traffic police) officers and certain measures will be taken. in case these measures turn out to be insufficient, we will consider inviting the mother to a meeting with the juvenile affairs commission."

Altynbayeva was previously criticized for a video in which she drove with a baby on her lap.
