Software giant and philanthropist Bill Gates said Thursday that in an effort to speed the development of a vaccine to fight the coronavirus, billions of dollars will be spent on efforts that are ultimately abandoned in favor of more promising ones.In an interview with “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah, Gates said that, instead of first homing in on one of seven different "vaccine constructs," plans are in place to build factories for all seven, even though only one or two will eventually come to fruition.
Earlier in the pandemic, both Gates and his wife, Melinda Gates, donated $100 million to fight COVID-19 through their eponymous foundation, which works on fighting infectious diseases around the globe.
“It seems, though, that money isn’t able to fix this problem," Noah said. "It seems like governments around the world are trying everything they can, but it doesn’t seem like it can be fixed. What are you hoping to achieve in this moment in time?”
“Governments will eventually come up with lots of money for these things, but they don’t know where to direct it, they can’t move as quickly," Bill Gates replied.
He said that the biggest issue right now is the American health care system’s access to testing in order to pinpoint who has the disease and who does not. He added, however, that the money he has pledged can “help accelerate things” right now.
“We did fund some things to be more prepared, like a vaccine effort,” Bill Gates said.
"So for example there’s — of all the vaccine constructs, the seven most promising of those — even though we’ll end up picking at most two of them — we’re gonna fund factories for all seven," he said.
“To get to the best case, that people like myself and Dr. [Anthony] Fauci are saying is about 18 months, we need to do safety and efficacy and build manufacturing. … And so we’ll abandon — you know, it will be a few billion dollars we’ll waste on manufacturing for the constructs that don’t get picked because something else is better,” Gates continued.
Medical professionals at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine announced Thursday that they have produced a coronavirus vaccine that has undergone peer review and is showing promise in mice.
The vaccine is just the fourth potentially viable candidate known to be produced, though major companies such as Johnson & Johnson have claimed promising candidates.
The coronavirus has infected over 1 million people globally, and the number of confirmed cases in the United States has reached over 245,000, claiming at least 6,000 lives.

Like I said above- it is all a PRC economic war,using a bio tool ! They did not kick out the white man,in December 2019 - they kept them in,so that White Int,picked it up - but the PRC purposely did not give the data - so that the US/EU,would be complacent - and then,the doom would strike.

But the real crux of the eco-war,is that the supply chain of all the life saving and sustaining goods,are in PRC.There is no nation in the world,which can substitute PRC - let alone the Indian Niggers,or the Slit eyed Vietnamese wimps.These are bogus nations.
Without a bullet beung fired,at the USA/EU,the PRC has shown the TRUE POWER of the PRC.It is not the Mach 10 Aircraft Carrier,killing land based missile.It is the supply chain of the US and EU life saving and sustaining goods - which is a permanent resident in the PRC.
The PRC is using the crux of capitalism (freedom to make anywhere in the world - irrespective of rights and politics), to destroy capitalism.
The only way out for the US/EU,is to move the supply chain,back to their nations - which is what Trump was saying - and which will be the key poll issue,for Trump - by when,PRC will leak the intel intercepts - which prove that US intel,had some idea about COVID in 2019 - and Trump looked the other way.
The whole world is abusing and blaming,the PRC - but not Russia. Y ?
To complete the grand plan - the PRC needs to attack the eastern and western borders of India,and also, to take a hit on the Viet Slit eyes in the South China Sea.These 2 nations have no chance - and it will blow the perceptions,about diversifying the supply chain risk.Some sabre rattling on Taiwan,will also be inevitable before the US Polls - unless the polls,are cancelled.
And then,there will be Crimea-Part 2.There is no other opportune intersection of history - US Polls,US/EU in shock,That rising US death Toll,NATO troops infected,The Military logistics in EU and NATO Bases in Eastern EU, are completely destroyed.
