Life after presidency: What's on Donald Trump's agenda after White House exit?!

Will he follow the tried-and-tested former President’s path?
What do you do after holding one of the most important positions in the world? US President Donald Trump is about to find out. He is officially in the White House until January 20, when he’s expected to hand over the reins of office to Joe Biden. So what’s next for him?Well, if the past is any indicator, he’ll find a new obstacle to beat. Trump has been a real estate mogul, reality television star and his own brand ambassador and chances are he’s not going to walk away from the spotlight any time soon.
He may try to rebuild an empire suffering due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He could get into philanthropy or public speaking, or his presidential library - archives and museums of a president and his administration, usually in their home state.Oh, and then there’s golf. So much golf. Here’s a look at other former presidents and what they did after a White House exit.Barack Obama: The first African-American President of the US has been keeping busy since he left his seat of power. In 2018, they signed a contract with Netflix to produce films and series under their production banner, Higher Ground Productions. They’ve also worked on books on their life at the White House, worked towards social causes and undertaken speaking engagements. When Bill Clinton left the White House, he moved to Chappaqua, New York, his wife Hillary Clinton’s home base. From here, Clinton took on a prolific agenda of public speaking along with two common post-presidential pasttimes: building a library (which he did in Little Rock, Arkansas) and writing a memoir. He is also very involved in social issues through the Clinton Presidential Foundation, which works on racial and ethnic reconciliation and promoting the economic empowerment of poor people.Once a Texan, always a Texan. George W. Bush returned to Midland upon leaving office at age 62 and spent a quiet life on his Prairie Chapel Ranch. The Bushs also bought a home in an exclusive neghbourhood in Dallas and became a large part of the local community, attending local events and hosting people at home. He gave speeches in public forums but kept away from political conjecture. He also worked on a bunch of social causes including for veterans with PTSD. Bush also gained a name as a painter – late in life he took to painting portraits of his pets and world leaders; they are displayed in his library.Actor-turned-president Ronald Reagan went from the White House to Bel Air.He wrote his memoir, supervised the creation of Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California and made many speeches. Unfortunately, he would soon contract Alzheimer's disease which would take a heavy toll on him. Reagan died on June 5, 2004.Jimmy Carter’s presidency may have come with some issues but after an exit, he immersed himself in humanitarian causes, as well as working in international diplomacy and writing several books. In 2002 he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.Richard Nixon is best known for the Watergate scandal, but went on to live a life full of memoirs, paid interviews and audiences.
