When Power Fails in Markets, It Turns to War.!

By: Dr. Shaaban Fundi, Ph.D.

This is NOT just about Iran.

This is a pattern.

A dangerous one.

The U.S.–Israel war on Iran is not an isolated conflict—it is a warning shot to the entire Global South.

Every. Single. Country.

What we are witnessing is the normalization of force where negotiation once existed.

When contracts cannot be won…

When influence cannot be negotiated…

When control is slipping…

Power is taken.

By force.

Look at Venezuela.

Nicolás Maduro was captured in his own country by U.S. forces and flown out to face charges abroad—after a large-scale military operation inside a sovereign nation.

Let that sink in.

A sitting head of state.

Removed.

By foreign military power.

That is not diplomacy.

That is precedent.

Now look at Iran.

Bombings.

Escalation.

Destabilization.

Different geography.

Same script.

If this model succeeds in Iran, it will not stop there.

It will expand.

Resource-rich nations will become the next targets:

Congo

South Africa

Namibia

Venezuela (already tested)

And across South America…

Because this is not about one country.

It is about control of resources.

It is about power in a changing global order.

And it is about sending a message:

“If we can’t get it on our terms… we will take it.”

The Global South must understand this moment.

Not emotionally.

Strategically.

Not in isolation.

But as a system.

Because what is happening to Iran today…

Could define what happens to other resource-rich countries tomorrow.
