Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday that the first day of Eid Al Adha will be on Tuesday, October 15 as the Zul Hijjah moon was sighted on Saturday, October 5, according to a statement from the Islamic Crescents’ Observation Project.
“Saturday was the last day of Zul Qaadah and Sunday, October 6, will mark the beginning of the lunar month of Zul Hijjah,” the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia said.
According to the Saudi Court statement, the Day of Arafat will be observed on Monday, October 14.
