OMAN: DAVID CAMERON MEETS HIS MAJESTY SULTAN QABOOS!

His Majesty, British PM discuss bilateral relations

MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Qaboos granted audience to British Prime Minister David Cameron at Bait al Baraka yesterday. During the meeting the two sides discussed the existing co-operation and the friendly bilateral relations between Oman and the United Kingdom. The meeting was attended by Dr Omar Abdulmunim al Zawawi, Special Adviser to His Majesty the Sultan for External Liaison, Jamie Bowden Ambassador of the UK to the Sultanate, and the delegation accompanying the British prime minister.
Later, His Majesty the Sultan hosted a special luncheon in honour of Cameron and his delegation at Bait al Baraka. After 1356107408155932500the end of the luncheon ceremony, His Majesty the Sultan bade farewell to the British prime minister wishing him safe return. Cameron and his delegation left last evening after concluding a several-hour visit to the Sultanate.
The prime minister and his delegation were seen off by His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, Sayyid Badr bin Saud al Busaidy, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Dr Omar Abdulmunim al Zawawi and the British ambassador.
The prime minister’s delegation comprises Jamie Bowden, Sir Nigel Kim Darroch, National Security Adviser, Edward Llewellyn, the prime minister's Chief of Staff and a number of British officials.
