President Jakaya Kikwete is from tomorrow expected to inaugurate four road projects in Tabora region.
According to a statement issued yesterday by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works, Herbert Mrango, the President is expected to inaugurate four road projects and a bridge in the region.
The President will tomorrow lay the foundation stone for the construction of Mbutu Bridge in Igunga district.
On Tuesday, he will lay the foundation stone for the construction of Nzega –Puge, Puge –Tabora, Tabora-Ndono and Tabora- Nyahua roads project.
On Wednesday, President Kikwete will lay the foundation stone for the construction of Tabora-Urambo road. All the mentioned roads will be constructed to tarmac level.
The inauguration of the road projects is part of the government’s commitment to ensure all regional headquarters are connected with tarmac roads.
Upon completion of the road projects, it is expected that they will stimulate economic growth for residents of the region and the nation at large.
