MUSCAT — Dr
Ahmed bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Health, patronised the oath taking
ceremony of the 21st batch of medical graduates and 7th batch of nursing
graduates at Sultan Qaboos University yesterday. A total of 166 graduates,
including 88 medical graduates and 78 nursing graduates administered by Dr
Yahya al Farsi, Assistant Dean for Training and Community Service at the
College of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Sulaiman al Sabei, Lecturer at the
College of Nursing, respectively. On the occasion, Prof Omar Al Rawas, Dean of
the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, congratulated the graduates and
called upon them to put hard work and show dedication to their profession
to serve the community. He also advised them to update their skills and
knowledge every day in order to keep abreast of the latest developments in
medicine and health sciences. — ONA
