Toronto Mayor Rob Ford undergoing treatment at GreeneStone, rehab facility confirms

The GreeneStone rehabilitation centre in Bala, Ont., has confirmed that Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is a patient at the facility.
A statement released Friday afternoon said, "On behalf of GreeneStone Clinic Muskoka Inc., we confirm that Rob Ford is undergoing treatment at our facility."
The statement noted the information was released with Ford's consent.
"We ask that the public and the media respect the privacy of all the patients at GreeneStone, to ensure they receive the most comprehensive and effective treatment," the statement said.
The GreeneStone facility is located about an hour from the Ford family's Muskoka-area cottage on Fawn Lake.
Last week, Ford was spotted outside of a Bank of Montreal in nearby Bracebridge, talking with locals and posing for photos.
Earlier this week, Ford's Cadillac Escalade was impounded after a 36-year-old woman, Lee Anne McRobb, was charged with impaired driving in Bracebridge while behind the wheel of the vehicle.
In a video posted online by local radio news station Moose FM on Wednesday, McRobb claimed she was in rehab with Ford but declined to comment further on her relationship with the Toronto mayor.
The video was shot at the vehicle impound lot when McRobb arrived to pick up her belongings from the Escalade.
CBC News learned Thursday that McRobb was discharged from GreeneStone about six days before the video was captured, and that she had permission from the Escalade's registered owners — DECO Labels & Tags, the Ford family business — to drive the luxury SUV.
