The costume - even though it was creative - has left the social media users completely amazed.
Thirty-six-year-old Shay Diez, a physical education teacher at Sycamore Springs Elementary School in Dripping Springs, posted her pictures on Twitter and as soon as she did, they became viral.
Shay can seen with a baggy blue gym shirt and flaunting a thumbs-up with her right hand. Her left hand and arm are around what appear like her own hips and legs, which seem to have been severed from her body. It looks like the bottom of her torso and the top of her legs are separated from one another.
Even as Shay didn't reveal how she did the costume, it had the desired effect - with netizens awestruck by the wonder dress-up.
Shay stands next to signs with the word 'illusion' and its definition, 'something that is not what it seems to be'.
Sycamore Springs is one of many schools that hosts a 'vocabulary parade' on Halloween. The purpose of a vocabulary parade is to combine language learning with the holiday, and students are encouraged to dress up as a vocabulary word, a Daily Mail report pointed out.
