The body of a 26-year-old American man was found hanging from the ceiling of a building under construction in Al Qasba area of Sharjah on Friday morning.
A police source said the initial investigation showed that it is a case of suicide.
The body was hanging on an electric cable.
The body, which has been sent to the forensic laboratory for autopsy, was found by workers who reached the building in the morning. The police and forensic experts collected pieces of evidence from the spot and are investigating the motive, if it was suicide, and the circumstances under which the man died.
