New ride to sling you across Dubai beach at 100kmph!

How would you like to get slung across a Dubai beach at speeds of over 100kmph? A new ride in Dubai offers thrill-seekers the chance to experience a force up to 4Gs in just half a second as they are propelled 120 metres over sand and water.

Action sport brand XDubai's slingshot will open at the Kite Beach on October 26. Priced at Dh280 per person, tickets to the slingshot include a Dh50 voucher that can be redeemed at the XDubai Shop for merchandise, or go towards a ticket for an XLine Dubai Marina experience.Designed for single riders, the slingshot is the region's fastest. The ride will be open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays only from 9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 7:00pm "for a limited time".

"Tickets will available onsite on a first-come, first-serve basis with the option to keep your name on the waiting list for the same day." XDubai said.
