OMAN: First handwritten version of Holy Quran

QURAYAT: Coinciding with beginning of Ramadhan this year, calligrapher Salim bin Khalfan al Balushi, has rewritten the hand written version of the Holy Quran, the first Omani handwritten version which was issued in Ramadhan 1425 AH. 

The writing of the Holy Quran, which took 12 years, is an important achievement that showcases the Sultanate’s care for religious and Islamic values based on Holy Quran and traditions. — ONA
